MFA Book Club:

These are the books that we listed to select.  Please vote on one.  Please email your vote to jason_...@hotmail.com.  We will select a short article (or something) for next week to give people time to get the book after the selection.

  1. The Omnivore's Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals by Michael Pollan
  2. The Road to Wigan Pier by George Orwell
  3. Religion Explained by Pascal Boyer
  4. Anti-Intellectualism in American Life by Richard Hofstadter
  5. The American Political Tradition also by Richard Hofstadter
  6. The Metaphysical Club by Louis Menand
  7. Another Suggestion?

Remember that the books are supposed to challenge your current way of thinking or sacred cow.

Take care,
Jason Grosser

All you want is beer? I guess that means I don't have the competitive edge
I had hoped. ;-)
