In the spirit of Cosmos, here is an image-ination of Homo Erectus sitting underneath the stars that, through proper motion, would someday become Orion the Hunter.

P.S. Not sure how accurate Sky Safari was on this, it starts acting kind of wacky way back when

Nice,

I have done that with starry night pro a while ago, and while I worked at the Planetarium in Caracas (not that many years though), another interesting exercise is doing the same for the big dipper and Polaris (that at the time was not the pole star)

Your idea of integrating the images is brilliant!
