PHP Developer – 4 month contract

A TEKsystems client is seeking a PHP Developer for a short term contract. The project is a complete revamp of the client’s company intranet. They are creating a more interactive and social approach for internal employees to connect and share ideas. They are referring to this as an internal ‘Facebook.’ They are currently in the design and development phase on this project and need a PHP developer to join the team for at least a 4 months. Responsible for writing programs to maintain and control computer systems software for operating systems, networked systems, and database systems. Responsible for creating the software platform, and then fine-tuning the final program after it has been made. 3+ years experience in systems development and the skills/platform/environment requested. Full working knowledge of the SDLC. Gathers user requirements data in order to prepare functional specifications.
