For the past year, Microsoft has been making big investments in technologies outside of .NET and Windows. Many projects have been open sourced, Linux is a first class citizen in Azure and programming languages such as JavaScript and Java are fully supported. Python is another language that Microsoft had been paying attention to even before. With Visual Studio support and an Azure SDK, Microsoft is working with partners in the industry and community to ensure that Microsoft products are the best place to use Python. This presentation will look at how the Python language. It will also show how Microsoft tools and platforms support Python.
