[UCLA][Spring 2013] Week 8 Board Thread

Hello everyone, 

     Meeting will be at my place (660 Veteran Ave. #301) at 8:30PM once again. As I've been saying, I will be at the gate/glass door at 8:25 to let people in. The meeting will follow a short relaxed agenda again as we near the end of the year.

• Dim Sum & Boba Fundraising Recap
• Week 8 General Meeting
• sign up for potluck
• thank you letter writing materials
• print blank letterhead (how many)
• lined template/binder paper)
• thank you latter (from last year)
• Kids' Day
• update
• changes for next year
• Board and 7G members': general attitude and performance
• we appreciate the time set aside for MEMO; it's been a lot of fun
  
• importance and value of these positions/spots
• the point of tasks&events and how they make the programs possible
• continue earning those spots
• being proactive
• showing intention to attend instead of waiting to be prompted and invited multiple times (weekly emails --> mark your calendars and make the time)
• realize that everyone is busy but if you work together, it makes everyone's workload lighter
• volunteer and don't wait to be assigned
• commit to planned dates and assigned tasks; hold yourself personally accountable
• 7G meeting Thurs @7 PM after general mtg potluck

Hi Board, 

Sorry I couldn't make it to meeting . 

I would like to say thank you so much for putting up with me and Johnson the past 2 quarters. I know there has been a lot of up and down with the fundraising team this year, but we really did try our best. I just want to say thank you to those who helped out today, and for putting up with my stressful, freaking out self. Sorry if I was  mad at you or was kinda angry at you.

Once again, I am really grateful to work with all of you guys this past year.

@Tuan: Thank you for helping us out, Tuan! Especially with our little adventure to Chinatown for our first dim sum sale, it's been a blast to work with you and everyone!

@Everyone: As Kim Ngan has said, thank you for working together in these fundraisers! It has definitely been a learning process for both me and Kim Ngan in terms of what worked and what didn't work - which Trang and I will help implement what went right for next year. If you think that this year was crazy, wait for next year! It will be insane! ^_^
