Memento Database 6.0 for Android is ready for beta testing! Create mini apps with AI and ask the new agent to find, analyze or update your data — or explain how Memento works.
Describe what you need and create a mini app around your libraries, right inside Memento. Project workspaces, inventory scanners, dashboards, calculators and even games are just a few examples. Connect existing libraries or let the builder create new ones. Mini apps save data as ordinary Memento entries. Vibe coding, connected to your data.
Choose a framework to shape your app’s look and feel, with options like Ionic and PrimeVue. Game frameworks open up gamification — turn tasks into quests or track habits as a growing garden. Add-ons extend your app with maps, charts, calendars and more.
To get started, open the main menu → Add App, optionally choose libraries, then tap Create and describe your idea. For example:
“Build an inventory app using my Products library, with barcode scanning, stock levels and a quick restock form.”
Ask for changes in chat; version history lets you return to an earlier design.
Use offline, sync and shareOnce built, mini apps run without AI requests or AI credits, and work with local data offline. Sync them through Memento Cloud across your Android devices and share them with other users, controlling what they can read or change.
Meet the new AI agentTalk to the new agent as you would to ChatGPT: ask everyday questions, brainstorm or get advice. It supports the latest GPT models and other leading models. Your libraries give it a ready-made knowledge base it can search and act on, including tasks across multiple libraries. It can:
- Create and edit libraries and entries, find and analyze data, and show entry cards and charts directly in chat.
- Work with attached photos and documents, read web pages, search the web through Memento Cloud, and generate images.
- Remember useful context between chats, with memory you can review, edit or turn off.
- Write, edit and fix scripts and SQL queries directly in their editors.
You control the agent’s access: in Settings → AI assistant → Library access, set any library to Read only or No access.
You can also ask how to use Memento. The agent can consult the user guide and scripting documentation.
Choose your modelOpen the chat using the AI icon on the main screen, in a library or on an entry. Choose from lightweight to frontier models. Lighter models work well for everyday chat; for building apps, we recommend switching to a more capable model. Use Memento AI credits or connect your preferred model through any OpenAI-compatible provider with your own API key.
