I’m collecting patterns of how advanced MementoDB users build their systems. This is not a support question — no need for anyone to reply directly to me. I’m simply gathering insights and observing how people approach high‑level system design. Here are some patterns I’ve noticed among advanced users: Treating MementoDB not as an app, but as a development environment Designing data structures before designing fields Building multi‑layer workflows to reduce user decisions and prevent mistakes Using JavaScript fields, calculation logic, and API integrations Creating “engines” that automate business logic Running entire workflows on mobile devices Working around platform limitations (return restrictions, library separation, sync behavior, etc.) In my own case, I build layered “engines” to minimize judgment points and avoid operational accidents. I’m curious whether others use similar ideas or completely different philosophies. If you have additional patterns or observations, feel free to add them. I’m just collecting insights — no need for a direct conversation thread.

Hallo

Hello

I've been using Memento for about 6-7 years now at the company where I work. We're an energy supplier with a fixed power grid. Memento is used for the maintenance of distribution boxes and poles. Using GPS data and a mobile phone, every distribution box can be located. It's also advantageous to enter data directly next to the pole during pole inspections, even if it's located in the middle of a field. We also experimented with a radio system where I used an API to retrieve the data into Memento and display it. All mobile. Even the assembly of distribution boxes is handled via Memento. The planner enters the relevant data, and Memento generates a parts list that is then imported into the warehouse management system using barcodes.
