I am trying to open a related library using the libByName in Javascript.  Should I be running a script or opening a URL for a Library in the Cloud?

Obviously I am new to the script portion...

You can have a button field in your entries that runs a script when pressed, or you can have a "library Action" script the runs a script:

libByName("<your library name>").show();

I keep forgeting to ask what platform you are running on. The PC, Android, and Apple versions are different.

On the PC, you need to make sure that both libraries have the needed permissions. The "from" lib needs permission to access external libraries, and the "to" lib needs permission to be accesed as well. I am not well versed on the pc version to know how to do it there, unfortunately.

Thank you for that info. I am totally unfamiliar with the iOS platform's Memento version, so hopefully someone else can help.

However, be sure to check permissions, as insufficient permissions could cause your issue.

Thank you.  Based on the PC and Android versions, would this script open the requested library for viewing/updates?  Following is the Permissions screen
