Hello

I have this error on my computer when I open a database: Duplicate key com.luckydroid.mementofx.db.models.FieldTemplate@3b13cff2
On my smartphone, all is ok.

Thanks

I don't think anyone other than the developer is going to know about that one. Sup...@MementoDatabase.com. Give him all the info you can.

Hi,
it used to happen to me many times when desktop version had the old db engine, but still happens sometimes with the new one too; the only solution, except reinstall of course, is
  • to close memento desktop
  • to delete the ".memento" folder located (in windows version) in your user folder ("c:\users\username") which store the local db and settings
You'll have to re-enter account credentials and download libraries from cloud (any filters and groups settings get lost)

Bye

I'm having the same trouble. I've followed the steps outlined here but to no avail.

This only happens on the desktop version. I'm a Pro subscriber, too, in case that makes a difference or clarifies my situation.

I have a lot of data to create, but can't until this is solved. It would be much appreciated if someone has a solution, please.

Thanks.

Adding some new issues that might help narrow down the problem.

1. When looking at my library on my phone, the lower left corner says "150 entries". When I uploaded the data to the cloud, it said there was a maximum of 149 items (Uploading 8 of 149...etc.)

2. When I open it in the desktop app (after deleting the .memento folder), and choose Download, it says there are 169 entries in the library. But also in the lower left of the desktop app it shows "150 entries".  ???

3. Lastly, whenever I edit the library on the desktop, no matter what I click on in the resulting window (the one that shows all the fields of the library), it gives me the "duplicate key" error and crashes. Very frustrating.

At this point, I'm going to try and rebuild the library on the desktop and hope that it rights itself. However, I'd still like help to understand what's going on with the duplicate key issue.

I have this error as well. Only on one library. Support is looking into it.

I've rebuilt indexes, deleted and recreated the memento folder etc.

Mine was fixed. I had added a new rich text field on two separate devices at the same time.

It's called the TOO MANY DEVICE SYNDROME EFFECT
