When I copy a library  (rightclick on library name and click "Copy"), I get a copy of my source library - but with 0 entries. How I can copy the library WITH all entries located in the source library?

Hey, with the Android version I can copy a library WITH the entries.
I like working with the windows version, but there seem to be several restrictions when working with the Windows version.

There is a common complaint that the Desktop version and the Phone version have different capabilities. The Memento staff unfortunately does not regularly monitor this site, so you would be better off going to the Main Memento web site to express your thoughts on this issue.

In the meantime, I just use my phone app to copy my libraries, and then upload that copy into the cloud.

Do I understand that correctly? The Windows version has the same capabilities as the Andoid version - with the exception of "copying the database"?

Hallo

Hello
The program on the PC and on the cell phone are 2 different programs that access the same database. The developer tries to align them. But there are differences. They are the biggest in the JS area, that's where I notice them.

Hallo

Hello
how do you generally handle this when working with the databases?
I plan to work mainly with the desktop (Windows) version and use the Android version mainly for data entry.
Only in cases like "copying libraries WITH data" I will use the Android version. At least that's my plan now ;-)

I have not yet dealt with Java Script. Is it possible to design the database so that it runs on both versions (Windows and Android)?

Hallo Andreas

Hi Andreas
Memento works quite well with both versions, it's just a few small things. I also develop the programs on the PC version. You then have to check it on your cell phone, which is what I always do to test the input. The PC version does not have a camera to read bar codes / QR codes. There are commands in JS that access Android, but that doesn't work on the PC either.
