Link to image file with android 7

After update to android 7, i have this problem. I have a database with type field "link to file" with link to image files. Before update to android 7, after opening the images file i could browse photos grouped in the same folder (with several gallery apps). After update to android 7 it's no longer possible. Has anyone solved this same problem?
I have memento pro licence.
