Jasper reports help

The MD wiki for Jasper reports seems out of date. http://help.mementodatabase.com/?ht_kb=jasper-report

It says to add fields in step 3, but I don't have a drop down option.

I need to generate reports that include text, date, number, and image fields.

I recently changed my smartphone from android to ios, not aware that I would lose the Copy to Google Docs option on Android...

Any assistance is appreciated.

The only page in the Memento user wiki regarding Jasper Reports has no content whatever. It is a placeholder intended to point wiki authors to topics that need to be documented. Clearly, no one has ever gotten around to doing that for Jasper Reports.

The link you give us was to Memento Help. Help is provided by Memento itself (the developer or those contracting to him), whereas the wiki is provided by users, like the members of this forum. 

So, if Help is out of date, contact the developer about it at sup...@mementodatabase.com. If the wiki is out of date, I don't know who you should contact. It was once me, but I retired from working actively on the wiki years ago. I've tried for years to get people involved to take over oversight of the wiki from me, but no one has stepped forward and then delivered on the promise. I'm still hoping that someone will do that, but I'm not expecting that. I suggest contacting the developer at the link above or maybe contact Beth Dixon, who has contributed to the wiki, at beth.ea...@gmail.com.

I'm sorry that I don't know Jasper Reports and can't help you with it.

Hello. 

It´s kind of easy. Just download JasperSoftStudio community edition, add fileds (match there the field value - Class (Math decimal for numbers etc...) then just add the fields on the report. It took me some time to figure things out, but it ´s great, i assume you want print some official papers. 

As for the images, it´s better to upload it on web and assign there link to webpage. Offline images are problem if not located on same place (i use multiple computers with memento and print options, this was a problem ... 

There are lot of stuff about this you just have to ask what do you need.... I use 80mm thermal printer , A4 printers and 80mm sticker printer connected to memento / jasper reports. 

If you have some concrete question just ask my english aint that good but i will try to help. Lot of guys here helped me to develop own system :)
