I have a library with about 2200 products and 40 fields for each product.
Photos(~950pcs) of products and size is 3.2Gb in the memento cloud storage a with Team 10 user subscription.

We have put a lot of work to it and I would like to have working backup/restore possibly in case of disaster.

I have had a minor accident when a phone (with to low performance) got a black screen in the memento app and for some reason deleted a few hundred products. But luckily they where found in that cloud users recycle bin and I restored them when I got his phone.

The measures I have taken at the moment is:

-Not allow "normal team users" to delete entries. They are only able to set product pcs to 0, I delete the iteams myself.

-I sync the library to Google sheets regularly.

According to memento wiki pictures should be found in Google drive:
All files attached to entries of a library are uploaded to Google Drive, in a folder called Name_library.file

I think this only applies for non cloud users.
The files taken with my phone does sync to my drive but not other cloud users photos.
So all pictures are not found in my Google drive, only about 200 files found, so I don't have a backup of ALL the pictures in library in Google drive. Google sheets do uppdate and all rows are ok.

- I manually copy the cloud library to my devices locally. So I can upload to the data again but all associated products pictures would the be gone....

-l do .csv export but that do not give me the pictures, users, library rights, filters etc.

-I export from Memento desktop to file, again no pictures, cloud users, library rights included here.

1.
A Backup question.

What is the best way to backup memento database and associated files/pictures that is in the cloud so I can fast and easy restore everything to cloud(including pictures) if a disaster happens.

2.
What restore scenario should I use to include cloud users passwords and library user rights pictures etc?

Of the size of the auto backup in memento settings I assume that it contains only library without pictures? In my case it shows 155.5 Mb. That means I have no auto backup of the pictures, right?

When I manually under memento settings backup to flashcard and include associated files it does not download cloud pictures and add them to memento_backup.db.files.zip (only pictures located on my device are included)

Some information.

-The pictures have been added by several devices / cloud users so I do NOT have the orginal photos locally stored in one place.

I don't know but I suppose the support@memento have some type of backup of the cloud databases and pictures and may assist is a disaster happens.
Maybe somebody else here knows ? if he have the possibly to easily restore individual cloud databases and pictures.

Anyway it would be nice to be able to know how to handle it myself in a safe way.

I just want to be prepared "in case of" problems in the future.

All good tips and anwsers are welcome.

Best Regards
Anders

Hi, here is the way I backup my memento cloud data, hope it may help you.
My Android memento client is the "master" one among the Team, so I set a Daily auto backup for database which includes all libraries shared among the Team.
Files are not included in backup, so once a day I manually download all attached Files on my phone selecting 'files' from the library menu and tapping on the three dots - > download all.
In this way I should have *everything* in my phone.
Then I scheduled a Daily sync using Synchronize Ultimate, mirroring the whole memento directory (which contains backup and Files Folder) to my nextcloud account (but you can use any online file storage like gdrive).
Bye

Thank you, Roberto.

You had figured it out.

Your answer is the same that I just received from Vasya also.

So for all other Team Cloud users out here the way to backup library with all (users)attached files to library is to first “download all” and the run backup.

You can download all photos to the device:

open library > right slide menu > files > menu > download all

In case of something goes wrong with the library you will be able upload library and files again to cloud and add cloud users and configure their user rights.
