Link to field attributes

Hello,

I have a table very similar to the Sales CRM sample . Products are in a different table and are linked into the Sales table. However, due to the nature of the items, the price in the Products table is left blank and should be entered during invoice generation. The it's done with attributes works only partially. I can enter price and qty as link to field attributes, but there is no way to generate a calculation for that line. There is no calculation field available. Let me know if I'm missing something. 

The total of all lines can be calculated with a sum, but I need the individual lines totals. 

Please advise if there is a workaround. A calculation attribute would solve the issue.

Yes, those ones. I already saw the article, but there is no option to add a calculation field in there. I am attaching some screenshots.

You're right. There is no JavaScript or calculation field available in a link attribute.

Using link attributes may very well be an advantageous way to accomplish line items, though I've not seen anyone go this way. The ones I've seen & used myself involves an invoices library for the overall invoice information and an invoice line items library linking back to the corresponding invoice for the line items. JavaScript fields are no problem in this case.

Link attributes are somewhat new and seldom used (I think) and likely seldom understood, as I've had to explain them a number of times. If you ask for such fields in link attributes, hopefully the developer will add them. Sup...@MementoDatabase.com or Memento.UserVoice.com or both. Let us know if you use UserVoice, so we can vote for it.

Hello, I was unable to open the attributes table because it says the database is not up to date... I may need to sign up for a beta version... For the time being, I used an invoice line table, which does not use the attributes and if works fine. It's a little more work but it seems to be OK for now.

Well, it seems I spoke too soon. The invoice line table works, in the sense that I can see the qty and price for every line, but in the invoice table I have the total, tax and discount, which should be at the bottom, after all the lines. The default setting shows the entries from the related fields at the bottom, so any fields that I add are automatically placed above it... Am I missing something? Anyone else has the same problem?

Je vous conseille de partager vos tables en publique, à fin que ce soit plus rapide pour tous, autrement ce poste risque de durait longtemps.....

I advise you to share your tables in public, so that it is faster for everyone, otherwise this position may last a long time .....

I'm not sure I understand your last message, but you may be looking for totals across all the invoices and/or their line items. For that, totals within entries won't work. In Memento, we get these totals by using Aggregation in Edit Library. The default is to Sum the fields and show them at the bottom. Also, it shows subtotals when grouping or filtering your entries (right-side menu in the mobile edition).

I know the question may sound stupid, but how can I share the tables so you cian see what I'm talking about? They are on the tablet. Only 3 are in the cloud. Even for those, I don't find an option to share them. Best would be to be able to copy and attach them here. 
Before I decide if I should upgrade the plan, I need to know if it works for my needs. Thank you!

All the items that belong to the invoice should be on the second tab, named Invoice items. On that tab there are entries for discount, tax and total for the particular invoice. How can the invoice items can show above the other fields? If we move the related entries field, it will appear on the bottom of the page bt default. I wanted to separate the information about the scope of the repair, the invoice items and the fi an ia-l part, that's why I have 3 pages (tabs). I hope it's clear now. One way would have been with the item attributes, whi h would eliminate the linked entries field, but the calculation for each line total is not existent... The way it is  up now works, but doesn't look right, according to my needs.
