set field on another field

Hi,

i have two tables:

1) customers

2) cities

In customer table, i have a field "link to other element" in which i choose the city from the table "cities"

now, the city table has:

1- city 2- state 3 -region

when i choose the city, may i set other 2 fields with the "state" and "region" value of the record i selected?
