Is there a date function in Memento that would automatically change to the current date.
Example: as a former HanDbase user, I would use a date field that would hold the current date and update daily automatically. It can be used in calculations, for example, to keep track of number of pills remaining. You can calculate ELAPSED TIME with (CURRENT DATE - DATE PRESCRIPTION FILLED) and then use it in calculation to track balance of pills left (BALANCE OF PILLS REMAINING = ORIGINAL QUANTITY OF PILLS - ELAPSED TIME). This is done without manually re-entering current date each time.
Great feature for showing number of days remaining before due dates for paying bills, etc.

Hi George,

Unfortunately the only way is manually entering the date every time. However, there is a slight work around using Google Drive.

Initially you'll need three fields set-up:
- Current Date (date), Prescription Filled (date) & Days Difference (calculation)

For days you'll need to calculate a date formula which is: datediff(#{Current Date},#{Prescription Filled})

"Current Date" & Prescription Filled are the names of your fields which you can decide yourself, also Memento had a built in field picker making it even easier.

Now...

Sync your document with Google Drive

Within the Google Sheets - change the Current Date to: =today() (this should continue to populate your library with current date after sync - Google Drive login may be required)
Copy for the remaining rows & re-sync back to Memento

You can suggest this function in Memento's official suggestions forum where others can vote & promote the idea: http://memento.uservoice.com/forums/110673-general/filters/top
