I'm a new user and would like to populate a book library.  I selected the default book library, have a barcode field, downloaded the scanner and selected "field autocompletion."  I had hoped by scanning the bar code, it would populate the other fields.  What happens is an error, "Sorry product not found," and "Can't execute request to Google Shopping, response precondition failed."  When I use the barcode scanner outside of Memento it readily identifies the book.  Any suggestions?

I am having the same issue. I know this worked a while back on my Droid X, but haven't added to it in months.  I have double checked all settings as stated in the guide, but cannot get this to work.  And it was working at least a year ago and I haven't changed anything in the design of the database so I can only assume something got broken in an update.  As Cheryl stated I too find the product outside of Memento via Barcode Scanner.  I am on Jelly Bean 2.1 and 2.2 Samsung Tablet and Moto MAXX respectively using Memento 2.3.3. Also I just tested this on my old Droid X running Gingerbread Memento 2.2.1 and the same error occurs.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same problem as well. I have been adding books daily for over a month and didn't start having this problem until last Sunday or Monday. I tried sending an email to the support address for Memento but have not heard anything back. I rather rely on this feature to primarily add the cover image so I don't need to take a picture, crop it, upload it to dropbox and then add it to the database. I have a Galaxy S4 with Android 4.2.2 and memento version 2.3.3.
