Hello everyone,
I'm trying to use Memento Database on my desktop because working on a larger screen with a keyboard is much more convenient.
I'm using the latest version of the Windows desktop application 3.10.0 , but I've run into several issues:
High RAM usage: The Windows application uses more than 2 GB of RAM, which causes noticeable lag and reduced responsiveness even on my workstation PC, especially when working with large libraries.
Different behavior: Some features, particularly scripts and Rich Text fields, behave differently on Windows compared to Android. This makes usage inconsistent.
fields names : In some cases, field names are still visible on the desktop version even though those fields are hidden in the Android app, resulting in a different user interface.
Because of these differences, I even tried running the Android version through an Android emulator. While it provides behavior closer to the real Android app, it is not a practical long-term solution due to the additional resource usage and inconvenience.
My question is:
Is there any practical way to use the Android version of Memento Database on a desktop while maintaining the same behavior as on a phone or tablet?
Alternatively, has anyone found a reliable workflow that avoids these inconsistencies between the Windows and Android versions?
I'd really appreciate any suggestions or recommendations. Thank you!

My phone does not support Samsung DeX, and Phone Link suffers from severe response lag. I have also tried scrcpy and various emulators, but both resulted in a very poor user experience."
Thanks so much! I tried it, but unfortunately, the experience wasn’t perfect.
I also tried Samsung’s official Phone Link app, but I found scrcpy to be better:

However, even with scrcpy, it’s still not practical enough for my daily workflow. I’m still looking for a smoother and more reliable solution.
