Integer field in Entry Edit pop-up doesn't show edit box

Hi. I'm in the desktop edition trying to edit an Integer field, but all that is shown for that field is the field name as a bold italic label with no box next to it for entry of a numeric value.

I checked Edit Library, and in there there is no indication of a hidden property or anything like that. For it to look like that, it seems to me it would have to be a setting of Read Only, but it's not. 

Any ideas?
