I'm new to Memento so this may be a dumb question.

Please see attached image. It is a Kanban view of the "to do" list I'm building.

Note the second record. Weed is the description of the to do task. 0 is the priority and the date & time is the date & time the task was completed. (Weeding never actually ends, but I put an end date & time for an example.)

Unlike the Table view the field names are not displayed. I can see this as a problem not only for myself but also for new users. Is there some way to make the field name display along with the field contents in Kanban view? Without field names no one would know that the number in the upper right is priority, for example.

Of all the views I like Kanban the best for my to do list because I can drag & drop. Table is also useful for debugging.

Thanks!

In your database the only choice list is "garden" "general" ...

So you can move your recording, from garden -> general -> ...

You must first understand what kanban is ...

The Kaban was created with metal tables we could move small cards from one row to another or from one column to another (See the web)

"Kanban means labels in the Japanese language. The cards or labels will represent the tasks to be accomplished in order to fulfill a customer's order. These graphic objects constitute a tool that is easy to understand and quick to decipher."

This is what the memento Kaban does ....

Hi Sam, was Bill able to clarify for you how Name, Description and Status works?  I haven't been able to get back to you on that.  Based on this email I think you got it.

In regards to your question try this...go to library edit, tap on your Priority field, select Unit of Measure, select Custom, then type in the word Priority...or something like that.

It will then show in the display as
"0 Priority".

I don't use Kanban view, but I tested above and it works.
