Hello from Brazil (first time here)

I would like to know if anyone else has noticed this behavior in the current Windows version of Memento Database.

In the Android version, for a library, it is possible to configure:

  • Entry Color (the small colored bar shown on the left side of entries in the list)

  • Background Color (the background color of the entire entry row)

In the Windows version, however, only Entry Color can be configured.

This was not a problem in previous Windows versions. My workflow was:

  • Configure both colors on Android

  • Open the same synchronized library on Windows

  • Windows would correctly use only the Entry Color

  • Android would continue using both colors normally

But in the current Windows version, the behavior seems to have changed.

Now, when opening the same library on Windows, the application appears to incorrectly use the Background Color value as the Entry Color.

Additionally:

  • If I edit the library settings on Windows and simply reselect the same Entry Color field (without actually changing anything), Windows starts displaying the correct Entry Color again

  • However, after that, Android stops using the Background Color and only shows the Entry Color

So it seems that saving the library settings from Windows may overwrite or remove the Background Color configuration used by Android.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Did anyone find a workaround or solution?

I have already contacted support and I am currently waiting for a response.

Hello from Austria (Europe)

Memento was originally developed for Android. The PC version came later, and finally iOS. All versions are independent programs that ultimately use the same data. There are some differences, though. This is one of them. I suspect a bug crept in during the last update (3.10). But you've already reported it. The developer doesn't always read these posts.
