My guess is no half star ratings.

Maybe with javascript, but even then it probably doesn't display a half star like you want.

If you want ratings from 1 star to 5 stars with optional half stars, that is 10 different ratings, if you count 0.5 stars, 1.0, 1.5, ... , 4.5, 5.0

You could have the ratings go from 1 star to 10 and that would also be 10 different ratings.

I notice if you enter a star rating you can't go back to unrated. I'm sure you can do with javascript tho.

If you want to enter a rating by entering a number of stars, it'll have to be an integral number of stars. There's a Clear button to change it to 0 stars, if you want. You can set the value to any non-negative integer in an After saving the entry trigger (Creating, Updating), or you could create an action to do it, which allows you to enter the value using an Argument, but with any script, you're getting away from the nicety of tapping on a list of stars to indicate your rating. You might as well just use a Real field to enter a half-star rating.
