I would like to make use of this feature but am baffled at almost the first hurdle.

Creating the Dashboard is easy but I cannot seem to do anything with Widgets.

I go 'Add Widget' then select 'Aggregation' and select the library that I want to use.

I get a message to say that 'This library does not contain aggregation functions.'

I have checked the library and it does have one entry in the Aggregation tab and the results show correctly in the List View screen.

So what obvious thing have I missed?

Вопросов не возникло бы, если вместо сообщения "В этой библиотеке пока нет  функций агрегирования" было написано "В этом виджете пока нет функций агрегирования".

Перенести агрегацию из библиотеки в виджет нельзя.

В виджете нужно создать одну или несколько новых агрегации с помощью "+".

As you say, bad wording, but it still seems inefficient to have to duplcate something that you've already done. Anyway, with that info, I have successfully created some widgets
