JavaScript statement for saving

Hello,

I have the problem already described by others, namely that in the Android version, lookup fields in the entry card are not updated immediately, but only when the entry is saved.

Is there a js statement that I can assign to a button so that I can manually update the entries in the entry card immediately? The button should act as if the entry were saved normally, except that the card should remain open.

I agree, having a javascript function or something like it would be useful.

You can have a little bit of this functionality by opening the entry in view mode. Then pressing the edit button to put the entry into edit mode. Saving this entry (using the top "check mark") will return you to the previous view mode with the changes in effect.
