hey there,
i would one go about creating a recurrence (eg yearly) in the standard calendar script, for adding to a calendar?
i figure it would take a few fields to achieve this, ie daily, weekly, etc.
then the time frame ie every 2 weeks, 1 year, etc.
also a side note, is it possible to select which calendar it will add to, not a biggy, just makes less work when adding, especially multiple events, ie birthdays

cheers in advance
Tony

Suggestions for improvements need to be sent to the developer at sup...@mementodatabase.com. He generally doesn't read this forum.

You do not state what system you are running this on. On some type of systems like Android, you can have a trigger that runs daily at a certain time, say at 3:00am. That trigger could check the date to determine if a new calendar entry is needed. (at 3am, who cares if the computer is doing something?)

I do it by having a check in some of my libraries to see if this is the first open of the library for this day, and if so, does this type of housekeeping.
