Audio field does't recognize audio recording app

Hello everyone!

I have a Blu XL cell phone running Android 5.1.

I installed Memento Database version 4.4.0

When I create a library with Audio field, it does't recognize an audio recording app in my cell phone. As a turn around, I installed Sony voice recording app. After I have installed this app, my library started to recognize the voice recording app, however, after I recording a sample sound, Memento just crash and stop working.

Is it a bug in this Android version?

On the other side, running the same Memento version in a Galaxy Win Duos with Android 4.1.2, I don't have this behaviour. It works just fine. I didn't have to install a third party voice recording app and Memento is not crashing after I record a sample audio.

Did anybody have similar issues using Memento with audio field?

*** I did the same test with Android 7.1 and I have the same issues reported with Android 5.1. i.e, Memento crashes after record an audio sample voice.

I tried it with 2 different recorders and I got the same message, that it did not recognize the recording app.

After that I installed the Sony Audio Recorder, as indicated in the following thread:

And yes, it records the audio file... but when you try to save the record it crashes. I've tried to change several things but it keeps on crashing.

Si, non tutte le app audio funzionano con memento. anche io ho avuto problemi e proprio qui mi è stato detto di usare "Audio recorder" come app, funziona senza problemi, è una app semplice, però funziona.
