Hi Memento Community,

I am excited to share that Memento Database now integrates with OpenFn, an open-source Digital Public Good that connects your data to 80+ business tools and workflows. This means your Memento data can now automatically flow to other systems and platforms - without manual export/import cycles.

If you have ever wished your Memento libraries could sync automatically with your accounting software, trigger notifications when tasks are complete, or feed real-time data into databases and analytics tools, this integration makes it possible.

Available Adaptors (80+)
  • Google Workspace: Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server
  • Accounting: QuickBooks, plus HTTP adaptor for Xero and others
  • CRM: Salesforce, Zoho, Odoo
  • Communication: Twilio (SMS), WhatsApp, Telerivet, MailChimp, Mailgun
  • Payments: Stripe, M-pesa, MTN MoMo, Pesapal
  • Project Management: Asana
  • Data Collection: KoboToolbox, CommCare, ODK, SurveyCTO
  • Universal: HTTP (connect to any REST API), SFTP, Common (JavaScript expressions)
The same way Memento has the possibility of having custom scripts, OpenFn allows you to write custom validation and logic for your workflows and automation jobs.

The Memento adaptor provides JavaScript helper functions for interacting with the Memento Cloud REST API, handling authentication, rate limiting, pagination, and error management automatically.

You can access technical documentation and community information there. See below an example of the user interface workflow builder (each step is entirely customisable by end users, and we have an integrated AI assistant to help you implement your custom logic easily). The platform has a user friendly cloud interface but can also run locally.

We are planning to release several templates using the Memento adaptor, so feel free to mention in this thread relevant use cases for the community (integrating Memento with X system or performing X type of automation).

Feel free to reach out at la...@openfn.org if you have any questions.

Wishing you all a great weekend!

Laura
