Link a field value to the previous field value, the field is a drop down Single Choice list

i have a database of mileage calculation,

the Metering reading start is automatically linked to previous meter reading End Value,

i have another field, which is place. i want start place to be equal to previous End Place. both start and end place are single choice drop down field formated, and have near identical list of items

Dazu gibt es ein Beispiel im WIKI . Du muss den Wert vom Vorigen Eintrag holen und in den Aktuellen , noch nicht geöffneten , Eintag eintragen . Das kann man mit einen Skript machen .

There's an example for this in the wiki. You need to retrieve the value from the previous entry and enter it into the current, not yet opened, entry. This can be done with a script.
