NFC Links to database entry

Is there a way to link from a NFC Tag to a Database entry? 

Possible ideas:

- directly by a call of the app with a unique key of the entry --> how must the link look like?

- via a third party app like nfc task launcher --> is the api of a call of the search open?

- via task automatisation app --> same question: is there an available api?

- future direct implementation of nfc tags like todays implementation of the barcode

Does anyone has an idea if one of the ideas is possible?
