Autofill Google Books?

I've searched and read, but I can't figure out how to get autofill from Google Books to work.  I set it up per the documentation.  When I start typing in the Title field, I see a brief spinning wheel, like it's trying to look something up, but it never returns anything.  I downloaded a movie template with an autofill and looked at the table setup to see if there's something different than what I am doing, but there isn't.

Has anyone gotten autofill to work with Google Books?

So, I'll answer my own question.  Now it works, but I have no idea what I did.  I tinkered with it a lot last night from the Android version.  When I opened the database this morning, it gave me a warning that I needed to add some permissions, which I allowed.  After I did that, autofill now works.

I still have a lot to learn!
