hallo,

i wanted to ask if there are information about how and who storage the
data? Are you doing by yourself or do you (if yes, do you use
migration or emulation) use archive companies (if yes, which).

and who exactly participate in this project.

this information are need for seminar paper

But one question remained: How long was the development of Memento.
2009 the first information about Memento were released but no
information about the duration of the development.

And is Memento still in a development state?

The ideas originated around April 2009 and went public November 2009.
 
And is Memento still in a development state?


The Internet Draft is work in progress, although we feel it is in a solid state now. An issue we are contemplating, currently, is whether some of the discovery aspects that are described should remain based on robots.txt or should leverage the Well-Know URI approach.

Tool development is ongoing. And there is a major project with the International Internet Preservation Consortium ongoing too, which is about devising a TimeGate service that has a reach across many web archives. Results will likely not be public until end 2012, however.
