Counterfeit Codes. Hackers can print their own QR codes and paste them on top of printed QR codes that appear on posters and in public locations. The bogus code directs users to a malicious or fraudulent site.
QRishing. A malicious QR code sent via email, text or other method could lead users to a phishing site that looks like the legitimate website of a trusted institution. Users enter sensitive information such as banking credentials or Social Security numbers, unaware that they have been redirected.
Malware. Hackers can embed malware into a QR code or link users to a site that contains a virus, keylogger or other malware. In some cases, merely scanning the code can do damage, extracting valuable information such as banking login credentials.
To protect QR codes created and used by the organization, use a QR code service provider that can create secure encrypted QR codes. These will be scanned by an approved validator app or web validation mechanism with the corresponding public key. Methods such as serialized QR encoding can be deployed to produce codes used for product tracking. Do not use static QR codes for user logins or financial transactions; instead, use dynamic codes and require users to regenerate them.
When using QR codes to share confidential documents, regulate exclusive access to content, protect inventory tags and other similar activities, and use a QR code generator with a password feature to help ensure the content can only be accessed by users supplied with the correct password.
To protect the user community from malicious QR codes, make sure managed devices have anti-virus and anti-malware software installed and updated. On-device mobile threat defense can further safeguard against phishing and other attacks that use QR codes to bypass anti-virus software.

There is several steps you must take to unlock the DICE LA Camo. This is broken down into 2 main parts. Part 1 is to solve the light puzzle on an unranked server. Part 2 is to enter an individual onetime use code in a ranked server to claim the camo.
To start solving the light puzzle, you must first join a unranked Dragon Valley server, this is easily done by joining 1 of the 2 servers above labelled as Part 1. The solution to puzzle is random everytime, therefore, you must figure out which buttons toggle which lanterns at the northern temple at H flag. Once discovered what buttons toggle which lanterns, we can then figure out which buttons must be toggled for all 20 lanterns to be turned on.
This can be done by marking a template, however, there are software solutions to solve it for you. We recommend using Light Solver which was developed by PsychoDuckUK. PsychoDuckUK also developed an Android app available on the google play store called BF4 Lantern & Morse Solver which includes a morse code solver.
Now that all 20 lanterns are turned on, the next stage is to activate the final morse code. If you are using an android device and have the BF4 Lantern & Morse Solver installed, have the it ready. If you do not, we recommend the following apps for the following devices:

Using an RPG destroy this side of the pillar, this will reveal a keypad which you must enter the code: 83980800000. The lantern next to the pillar will now start flashing again, use your flashing light morse code app to decode the message which will give you a 8 digit code, this code is random everytime and can only be used once.

One pair of headphones is hidden on each map. The headphones are indestructible and can be located on every server, as long as they have not already been picked up. It appears that there are 5 spawn locations per map, although some of them remain undiscovered. The headphones can be picked up by any player by walking over them. Upon approaching a hidden telegraph station after having retrieved a pair of headphones, the player will hear some Morse code being tapped out. A player can carry only one pair of headphones at a time, and only the player wearing the headphones will be able to hear the Morse code when near enough to a hidden telegraph station.
Here is is a series of images which display locations of headphones and telegraph station on each map. In order to hear the Morse code, the player needs to pick up the headphones from one of the 5 locations on each map (It might be necessary to check all 5 locations before finding the headphones) and bring them to the telegraph station.
Each user hears a different location name; locations are randomly assigned to players. There are 27 locations total: 3 locations on each of the 9 maps. In order to advance through the Easter egg, you need to know which location you are assigned; here is a tutorial (courtesy of Dunem) to help you read your Morse code.
