We are writing to update you on the measures we are taking to ensure you are compensated for any cancelled flights or outstanding credit owed to you.
Due to the unprecedented effects of the Covid 19 pandemic, Thai AirAsia X (airline code XJ) recently entered into a rehabilitation process on 18 May, 2022 in order to strengthen its business platform for the future and continue to provide great value services to our guests.
In accordance with the rehabilitation plan, the airline will be automatically providing all guests who have outstanding credit, with Credit Accounts to book future travel. Please be advised that bookings made using Credit Accounts will be available until 31 August, 2022. After that date, the total remaining value owed will be converted to Travel Vouchers with the following details:
1. To offer you greater flexibility, the Travel Vouchers will have an extended validity of two years for booking, from the expiry date of the Credit Account.
2. Travel Vouchers will be equal to the full value of XJ flight bookings, as stated in each passenger’s Credit Account as at 31 August 2022.
3. Travel Vouchers may be used to book Thai AirAsia X (airline code: XJ) flights only and will be valid for all seats on all flights, including during high travel periods.
