MemcacheQ installation problems

Hi,
I've installed MemcacheQ with the instruction supplied in the
INSTALL.html, but it fails to run. Error is:
memcacheq: error while loading shared libraries: libdb-4.7.so: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory
BDB has been compiled and installed as stated in the instructions.
This is on Debian linux.
Any ideas on how to make it work?

Nevermind, I forgot to run ldconfig.
