memcacheq: reclaim disk space

Hello,
I've been using memcacheq and its been working great for the past few
months. In that time, it has accumulated a tremendous amount of disk
space. Is it possible to reclaim some of that disk space?

I am seeing a lot of log.xxxxx files in the memcacheq directory. Is it
safe to delete some of these files?
