I'm following the directions in INSTALL. Installed successfully
bdb5.1 and libevent-2.0.7-rc.

I can't run the following because I'm on a mac(?)

"""
Load .so file by add two line in /etc/ld.so.conf:

/usr/local/lib
/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.7/lib

Then, run 'ldconfig'.
"""

Skipping that... when I run ./configure:
memcachedb-1.2.1-beta/ $.configure
...
configure: error: cannot find libdb.so in /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.7/
lib
memcachedb-1.2.1/ $ ls /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.5.1/lib/
libdb-5.1.a libdb-5.1.dylib libdb-5.1.la libdb-5.dylib
libdb.a libdb.dylib

Do you have specific instructions for users installing in Mac
environment? Tks
