Hey,

Looking again for some client author feedback for a pretty major protocol
change: https://github.com/memcached/memcached/pull/484 - this may
completely supplant the binary protocol, adding a lot of
features/flexibility and cleanups along the way.

If you've written a client, or get down in the details frequently, would
be happy to hear from.
