Hi guys,

I am wondering,
Is there a way to reload memcached service to use the latest configuration without wiping the existing cache?

Thanks for your help.

I'm actually working on a patch to possibly do this, there's another thread from a couple weeks ago on this.

The patch was a little overzealous:

It would probably need to be scaled back a bit or reworked to be more logically contained. I have unfortunately lost motivation to work on it because the issue I was trying to solve is so rare for us. I may look at doing it again. If you want to take a look at the code any maybe start from where I stopped, you should have a good head start.
