Hi All

What would be the best way to monitor Memcached instances programaticaly
I am looking something like a cron job which runs periodically and checks the health of the memcached instances

Regards
Jeenson

Hi Charlie,

In my case we put in place a cronjob sending a "stat" command through telnet every 5 minutes to all Memcached instances.
It populates a DB with the data and then we get graphs out of it.
Then we have automatic alerts computed from these data (done by script) based on Week-on-week trends.

Cheers
Nico
