Dear Fellow Toastmasters and guests,

 

Welcome to Ship Toastmaster Club Fall Contest dated Aug.26, this Thursday Evening, from 7:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M.

 

If you are an old toastmaster, you have already been surprised by toastmasters' contests one time after another, from club level to district conferences.

 

If you are a fresh toastmaster or guest, you will feel amazed by toastmasters' contests, from this Thursday to the far future.

 

Speech contests are an important part of the Toastmasters International educational programme. Speech contests provide an opportunity for proficient speakers to gain contest experience, and interesting educational programmes for Toastmasters members. They also allow those Toastmasters and guests who are not participating in contests to learn by observing the speakers.

 

It's a great opportunity for the contestants to show their demeanor, for they have learned the public speaking skills and would like to deiliver this skill to others.  

 

It's a precious moment for the audience to learn public skills by observing the proficient speakers, for during the contest, they will be fascinated by the speakers' performance and pick up speaking skills.

 

A Champion said, he won Champion not only because he delivered hundreds of speeches, but also because he watched thousands of speeches.

 

Now it's our time to walk a little far towards the champion ladder.

 

This Thursday, we will not only learn, but also have fun a lot, for we are going to hold the humorous speech contest, it will be a sweet gift and relaxing moment after our whole day hard work. I'm sure we will pick up a lot of laughters home and can't help sharing with friends around us.

 

This Thursday, other than humorous speeches, we will hear evaluation speeches. Different people have different spectacles towards one thing, and we can learn from every person for the good aspects and use it into our living life and work life. Always learn from others. Never cease trying to be the best you can be.

 

The contestants are all Ship toastmaster Club's excellent members.

And the contest chair, I bet you really don't want to miss the moment when she chairs a contest, because she is the most Charming lady in our club, she is always flaming the stage. 

 

Let's witness their charming performace this Thursday!
