Dear Odia Friends & Family,

Namaskar to everyone on behalf of OCAL. We are reaching out to you for help and support.

We hope that you are keeping up well in this difficult time and we are all aware of the guidelines from various sources how to be safe. There is nothing much to say on this but as a NRI Odia community here in UK, we would like to appeal and request everyone of you to be more generous and show your kindness to the daily wage workers and vulnerable people in Odisha. They need to be fed everyday with their family due to lock down in Odisha until end of April. With all uncertainty, no one knows how long the crisis will continue.

The center and state government are doing their best across all region. For any govt and the admin staff its a tough job to protect them from starving. Lets not forget that our people are very compassionate when it comes to starving and provide food for the needy people. This is our kindness to humanity and part of our lovely great Indian culture.

We all love Odisha and it remains in our heart all the time. Once again we request you to do your part and leave it to the government and organisation involved to take care of our very own people until the crisis become normal. We are sure that many of you have contributed or thinking of doing so through various channels directly or indirectly. If you are considering topping up again please do without fail. Whatever we extend our help its not enough in the current situation but every little helps.
