The dress code for Raja Festival (If possible, try to)  is:

Gents: Salwar and Kurta
Ladies: Sarees

Gents -->Those will take part in kabadi match and football match  I would suggest to bring extra pair of dresses(like shorts and T-shirts etc...).
Ladies--> Those will take part in Jhoti competition and Poda Pitha competition please give your name at Reception Desk.

The wait is over...On 30th June 2018 OCAL celebrates most awaited 11th year Raja festival year on year in Ilford, East London. We have managed to invite 65+ Odia Family together means 190 people all together to celebrate the RAJA festival. We sincerely thank them for their association with us.

Unfortunately, we had to close our e-registration ( 3 days ago ) due to capacity issue and food arragement which were pre-ordered. Anyone already in contact with us due to personal circumstances to register on the desk, we have invited them for a desk registration on the day otherwise we are sorry that it would be difficult to accomodate this time.

Our effort goes on to highlight further....

- 16 member organizing committee who take time off to help in various preparation activities from their busy schedule.
- 25 Plus stage performance. Some are trained by best dance institutes in Bollywood, Classical Odissi and Bharatanatyam dance.
- 3 Sponsorships
- Raja Patrika covering young talent's arts, poems and articles - Online copy will be published for all as well on the day but a printed copy availabe for all on the day.
- 6 Competitions for Arts, Jhoti, Poda Pitha, Football, Kabadi and Ladies games.
- Winners and Stage performers get the shining trophy with OCAL 2018 Logo.
- Singers performing on stage who have made their presence in UK and Odisha and other talent shows in UK.
- Excellent stage decoration which can make us feel the Raja festival like back home.
- Welcome drinks includes Lassi, Fruit punch, Lunch ( Rohu Macha Besara and Potal Rasa ), Evening Snacks, Dinner prepared carefully to our Odia taste ( includes Veg, Non Veg and No Onion Garlic Food)
- Dj for more fun and dance.

OCAL is proud to continue this tradition and help us to grow as an Odia Community in UK.
