It's been at the Music Hall of Williamsburg the past bunch of years, so that would be my first guess. If not there though, likely somewhere in that neighborhood.

Thanks. MHW is booked that night so I guess it'll be somewhere close.....

I'm actually pretty happy about that. I'm not a big fan of MHW.
Honestly, I wish they'd stay away from Williamsburg altogether. Not to sound like a dickhead (going to be unavoidable here) but the Manhattan crowd is always infinitely better than the Brooklyn crowd. The last few years there has been an influx of girls that appear to not know the band at all and show up and act like highschool valley girls. I don't know what's going on. This probably sounds like an odd complaint but it makes it difficult to enjoy an experience that I take seriously when there's a pack of slutty hipsters standing next to me gossiping loudly and drunkenly and sometimes dancing like they're at a Prince show.
The Manhattan crowd tends to be older and more often appearing to be real fans, as opposed to whatever Williamsburg barfs up for a night of hipster revelry.

Call me an old cranky asshole, but the annual Melvins show is an important event for me. Probably the only thing that approaches a spiritual experience. I don't want to be forced to punch a 19-year old in the tit.

I still remember when you showed up on our doorstep, Vinney. You’re not old.

And where’s the Los Angeles show?! I know, it’ll happen before or after…

Best day of my life.
Except for the part about being left on a doorstep.

Man, it's just nice to see this list get some use again. Seems like it's been years.

Also, Go Melvins...

For real! It's been dead quiet here for a long time (nice work on the revive, Jules).
Do most people here go to the message board, too? I stopped years ago, so I've been relying on the good-natured folks who post tour dates and album releases to this here list.

Thanks to all for keeping this list alive.  I'm rarely on the interwebs because of work.

Brooklyn show is rumored to be at Warsaw. Nothing confirmed yet.

It dawned on me that there were maybe people who didn't post over there that still posted here, so I thought I'd give it a try. Also, ahem, someone suggested there might be a place to crash if I ever showed up in NY on the spur of the moment for a Melvins show. Tum tee tum.

You think they'll finish in L.A.? That's logical I suppose.

Saw Melvins Lite and Big Biz in France this week. Italy and Czech Republic next week, then the Residencies.....barely able to stop dripping saliva at the moment.

Wish I could put up fellow Melvins fans when in NYC, but my roommates are assholes and insane.

Jealous of you seeing the Melvins in the Czech Republic. Would drink my own weight in beer every night.

Sorry, but I had to share with my fellow Melvins freaks.  I've been annoying my officemates for two days with this:

Someone compiled 45minutes of Paul Stanley's live stage banter. Hilarious.

End-joy,

Man I wish I could annoy my officemates with shit like that. They would not tolerate it.

At least it's not 45 minutes of Jim Dandy. That would be a test of strength.

Hahaha!

Melvins' sound guy should play the 45min Paul Stanley stage banter after the band finishes their set for the evening. It'll clear a room.

I don't go on message boards if I can help it. E-mail fits how I like talking Melvins.

Everybody Loves Sausages on Tuesday! I can't wait! I've purposely avoided listening to any sneak peeks. Melvins deserve high fidelity on a good stereo.

For some bizarre reason, my Sausages CD arrived yesterday; I've been playing nothing else all weekend. I won't spoil it.

I haven't heard anything at all from it either. I'm really looking forward to it.
I'm also very much looking forward to walking into a music store and buying a cd, then waiting till I get home to listen to it. I basically only do that with the Melvins and it's really fun.

I wound up listening a while back. I thoroughly enjoyed a lot of it and didn't like other parts. That's mostly because I am not a fan of a lot of the music they covered. Their approaches were great, but I don't like the source material, so I am sort of biased.

It's a hell of a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be. Jello is fantastic! You think they spelled Roxie Music wrong deliberately?

Any word yet on a venue for Brooklyn date?
