Subject: Call for Papers: Intersections - Tagore, Gandhi, and Environmental Humanities
To:

Dear Madam,

The faculty members of the Department of English at Kidderpore College, Kolkata, are delighted to announce the Call for Papers for the upcoming issue of our departmental journal, Intersections.

Building on the success of previous issues, this year Intersections will explore the significant writings of Rabindranath Tagore and Mahatma Gandhi through the insightful lens of Environmental Humanities. We aim to foster critical interpretations that examine their philosophies, ideas, and literary expressions in relation to ecological concerns, human-nature relationships, and environmental ethics.

We believe this interdisciplinary approach will generate valuable scholarly discussions and contribute meaningfully to the growing field of Environmental Humanities, while also offering fresh perspectives on the enduring relevance of Tagore and Gandhi.

We would be immensely grateful if you could kindly circulate this Call for Papers (attachef herewith this email) among your colleagues, research scholars, and anyone who might be interested in contributing to this issue. We also warmly invite you to consider submitting your own abstract and sharing your expertise on this compelling theme.

Further details regarding submission guidelines and deadlines can be found on the website of our journal (https://intersectionsonline.in

Thank you for your time and consideration. We eagerly anticipate a vibrant and insightful collection of essays for this upcoming issue of Intersections.

Yours sincerely,

Arusharko Banerjee
