Trouble installing the 5.2.0 on mac

Hi I followed the instructions in the README file - install ant first, then run buildProject.sh to finish the install. But I got the following messages. I sincerely hope that you could offer some guidance on how to resolve these issues. I'm installing this tool as it is needed for OpenPrimeR. Thank you so much!

It seems that you cannot create directories in /usr/local/

Are you installing as root?(or the equivalent on Mac. Sorry, I know nothing about Mac).

Can-you try installing the software in a user directory?
