Challenges
Over 100 different stakeholders had to be managed to deliver this complex project in time and intensive engagement of internal role holders was undertaken to align everyone to the overall project goals & navigate complex approvals/processes. Reimagining customer journeys, the internal teams had to rewrite almost 9000 processes within a short period.

Innovation
In the UFill solution, customers can pay BPCL over UPI and they receive a one-time use voucher which when scanned automatically sets the fuel pump. In the IRIS Solution, exception handling is carried out through bi-directional communication with controllers/other systems at the operating locations is the first of its kind in the oil and gas industry.

There is issue, which is coming out during release of code. As we know that in release mode, flash memory can be saved than debug mode. which can be selected as we go the following path: project->Active Build Configuration-> 1 debug and 2 release As It is working fine in debug mode but when run in release mode the lcd dislay is showing very fast scrolling. Another problem is that code composer is not allowing either to put break point or step-in of delay code only.

If you open the disassembly view and turn on viewing source you can see which lines of C have assembly associated with them. These will be the lines that you can place breakpoints on. You can also step through the assembly code in the disassembly view.

Anubhav Gupta said:1>I have noticed in release mode, one thing that when i was try to put break point on delay function code composer is not allow me to do so instead break point shift to any other line in code.

This is expected. Because optimization is probably enabled with your release build, you will lose the ability for effective source line level debug since the optimize may have rearranged the code for best performance.

Thanks, the link you've provided on Debug_versus_Optimization_Tradeoff was very informative. I was looking on how to ensure that my delay code works in Release mode and in one of TI's website I was able to find about Optimization levels. That really helped me and now that I have changed the optimization level to O1 I have more space for my code in the Debug mode itself and I am also able to run my delay routine as was done earlier.

Brown Engineering professors Dan Harris, Jacob Rosenstein, Anubhav Tripathi and Roberto Zenit, are among the 15 teams of Brown faculty researchers receiving funds from a newly created University seed fund. Brown established the fund to fast track innovative research proposals that directly address the urgent needs of the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of $350,000 was awarded to support research with the potential for significant and rapid impact on human health and research that could create products of immediate need for the healthcare system in Rhode Island and the nation.

Harris, Rosenstein and Zenit are part of a team of Brown faculty and students who are working on BrunO2, a do-it-yourself ventilator design made freely available online that can be easily deployed in resource-strapped situations. Ventilators are among the most critical aspects of COVID-19 treatment, and this project is aimed at speeding their production through a new design using 3D printed and off-the-shelf parts that can be produced rapidly and locally.

Tripathi is teaming with Alpert Medical School professor and infectious disease expert Rami Kantor, M.D., to develop a molecular surveillance tool and capacity to monitor spread of the virus regionally and beyond. Its goal is understanding if, and how, genotypic variants of SARS-CoV-2 might impact patient outcome; the investigation of the viral mutability under treatment selection pressure; and transmission dynamics of the virus in Rhode Island and beyond, informing public health interventions.

Anubhav is a CERC Postdoctoral Fellow at the Genome Insights Team, within the Transformational Bioinformatics Group. His current project aims to develop cloud-based bioinformatics solutions to manage and analyse large-scale genomic data from preventative health screen in children project (new born screening project).

The MonoDevelop IDE is built around the concept of an extension tree. An extension package is a set of extensions that plug into extension points to add functionality to the IDE. The whole IDE is built this way.

The CBinding extension package enables developers to write C/C++ solutions in the IDE. However, there were many features missing in it. My project was about writing some of those features and make changes to existing ones.

Users can easily switch between these toolchains using Tools > Options. It currently lists available toolchains based upon the platform (Windows, Linux, Mac) but I plan to write an additional check to load only the toolchains installed on that particular platform.

Apart from this, the CMake projects subclass SolutionItem but it needs some functionality from the Project base class which is quite specific to MSBuild project system, so I have done some chaining between the Project and SolutionItem/WorkspaceObject in the MonoDevelop source code to allow CBinding to use those properties.

Overall it was a great learning experience which I would like to continue further. I would like to thank the entire Mono organisation specially Mikayla Hutchinson for being a constant support for me. Understanding and working on such a large codebase was an ultimate experience. I had a lot of fun this summer!

Anubhav is a Research Analyst. He enjoys working on dynamic projects where he can learn new things. He is responsible and diligent. Being a resident of Jammu, he loves nature and exploring new places.

Wadehra works with Dr. Karl Ludwig and his materials X-ray diffraction group, and most of his research happens in the sub-nanometer regime. There are other projects where the group looks at surface phenomena using hard X-rays.

If temperatures inside a nuclear reactor start to increase, the atoms in the molten salt and fuel mixture shift further away. This automatically brings the nuclear reaction to a halt without the need for human intervention.

Wadehra has worked in two of the 17 national Department of Energy (DOE) laboratories in the U.S. For any three days during the semester, he collects data for his PhD thesis at Brookhaven National Lab in Long Island. For half of this past summer, he helped set up a custom Raman spectroscope and conducted research on uranium-filled salts at the Argonne National Lab near Chicago.

Jhajjar Power Limited (JPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Apraava Energy, signed an MOU with S M Sehgal Foundation for a one-year project on Integrated Village Development in twelve villages of district Jhajjar, Haryana.

The MOU was signed on this April 22, in the Gurgaon office of the foundation by Ms. Anjali Makhija, trustee and CEO of S M Sehgal Foundation; and Mr. Bhaskar Bhattacharjee, senior vice president and whole time director of Jhajjar Power Limited.

Machhrauli village, situated in the Nuh district of Haryana, with a population of around 4,400, struggled with water scarcity, significantly impacting the daily lives of residents. During a Village Leadership Schools (VLS) session, community members raised this pressing issue and were subsequently informed about the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme. Through proactive measures, the village successfully addressed its drinking water challenges.
