Please excuse the cross posting.   In case anyone is not on the WMC or EMC Graz mailing lists, I am using the melioidosis google group here.  

Dear colleagues and friends,

Registration is now open for EMC 2026 in Dublin, Ireland.   Early Bird registration* will remain open until 30^th November 2025.  https://www.emcdublin2026.com/registration

The conference will commence on the evening of Wednesday April 29^th with a welcome reception and close on Friday afternoon, May 1^st.   There will be a conference dinner on the evening of Thursday 30^th April (additional cost of €65).

·       Standard rate €320   (€385 with conference dinner)

·       Early career researcher (<5 years post PhD) or LMIC €230 (€ 295 with conference dinner)

·       PhD student rate €160  (€225 with conference dinner)

*Note:  We have experienced delays in setting up a payment link via my university, UCD, and so for now we are using the services of an IT consultant, Dwan IT.  This will be the entry in your statement.

Also, are delighted to be able to offer five travel awards of £3000 (GBP) each for enthusiastic Early Career Researchers or PhD Students that wish to attend and are based in an LMIC, sponsored by the VALIDATE network. Apply online via the EMC 2026 website.   Closing date 7^th November.   Eligibility rules and guidelines are also on the website. 

We are preparing the scientific programme currently and will update the website shortly.  The abstract deadline is 15^th December 2025.   Authors will be notified of whether they are presenting a talk or a poster in late January.
