Hi Andrew
As you say, there is no mention of Linux in the article.
Yes, I agree some people may have a laptop with a faulty graphics chipset,
mainly HP and Dell, according to the article, that they have installed linux
on.
That in itself still doesn't make this article of particular interest to the
list.
We (should) have heard about this from many other sources. I know I heard
about it ages ago from other general services.
I thought the MLUG list was about furthering the use and development of
Linux and Open Source.
Hardware issues are for other forums unless particulary relevant to an
installation / operation issue.
Lets not turn MLUG in to a general news service.
