Dear GTUGers,

With just over a day left, the HTML5 Open Call for Google Developer
Day 2011 deadline is fast approaching.

If you haven't submitted your entry yet, get packing! Better to
submit than to leave empty handed.

Brief:
- Create a fantastic Doodle of the GDD map by harnassing HTML5
technology
- Your Doodle will be judged on (1) technical execution, (2)
creativity, and (3) Australian cultural theming

Requirements:
- Link to your Doodle webpage
- A creative commons 3.0 license asset
- Short description (3-4 sentences) on your Doodle

Rewarded:
- Your Doodle could be featured on Chrome Experiments and GDD 2011!
- We'd love to hear your story: tell us your journey and you'll be
featured at next GTUG meeting!

Submissions need to be in by Wednesday 2am AEST

Your chance at a GDD ticket with the Open Call HTML5 Challenge has
been extended!

You now have until SATURDAY, AUGUST 13 @ 10 AM AEST to submit your
entires. Don't miss out on the opportunity to showcase your coding
skills by re-doodling a cool GDD image.

If you've put off participating, now is a great chance to get involved
if you'd been apprehensive. And those with a few days up your sleeve,
put the finishing touches on your showcase Doodle now and get
submitting!

They say there's no such thing as final production code, only code
that had to be released.

True as that may be you still need to get your HTML5 doodle in by 10am
Saturday August 13th.

So don't forget to hit that submit button and give yourself a chance
to get a ticket to Google Developer Day 2011 and noticed on a global
scale.
