Designing Data Intensive Systems 2nd Edition is out .. 10 years later

We ran a fortnightly bookclub for 1st edition at Zendesk   

It took well over a year to get through. This book is absolutely packed with content, including meaty topics like "how do modern distributed databases actually work?" 

I might do Table of Contents -style talk about the book one quiet month. Try to answer the question "what's the book about and why is it so special?"

Sounds great! There is a 4 episode ~ 6hr podcast where they "scratch the surface" of ed 1 so I guess your unlikely to run out of content 🤣.
